I'm the founder of The Extra Pair, based in South County Dublin — and a very hands-on aunt to five nephews and one niece.
I've spent years helping during the baby days, and I noticed something along the way: while everyone wants to hold the new baby, sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is look after Mum.
So I'm the person who'll happily take baby while you shower, but I'll also notice the dishwasher needs emptying. I'll fold the tiny onesies, make you something to eat, walk the dog or simply sit down for a chat after you've spent all day talking to someone who can't talk back yet.
I'm calm, capable and practical, with a background in psychology and a career centred around supporting women.
